Town Hall Meetings
Tuesday March 25th 7:00 PM at Shell Lake School is a town hall meeting to address underage drinking. There will be student skits and a presentation by Sheriff Terry Dryden on the liabilities of providing alcohol to underage youth. The band is going to play and there will be refreshments. Communities Mobilized for Change on Alcohol (CMCA) Training
As part of the drug free communities grant, New Paradigm Partners will be implementing the model program “Communities Mobilized for Change on Alcohol”. This program will look at youth access to alcohol and focus on reducing the access. This training is planned for late summer and for those who miss this opportunity, a subsequent training is planned for early 2007.

Digital Storytelling/Media Literacy Summer Institute
Several students will have the opportunity this summer to tell their story in a digital format. Additionally these students will take their knowledge of digital video and editing to develop public service announcements pertaining to youth and access to alcohol. These digital stories and ‘commercials’ will be showcased throughout New Paradigm Partners. There will also be opportunities for these students to show and train other students through a Institute planned for this fall.
